It was a great day in Southern Maryland today...November 8th and 70 degrees. A nice breeze and plenty of sun, my mom actually put the top down on the Benz on our way to lunch.

Took my Danielle to flute lessons this morning, then to Target and didn't spend a dime myself! I was very, very proud of myself!

I have so much to do in the scraproom...christmas cards, christmas gifts, gift albums, gift tags, cookie recipe swap, etc. etc. etc. and the room is an absolute mess!!! Can't even see the two, yes two banquet tables I have down there! It is so depressing :o(

I do have a capative helper on Veterans Day in the middle of the day, my organizer, Josh is a wiz with my scraproom supplies!!! Need to bribe him to help me out :o)

WOW! It's been awhile!
I haven't been overwhelmed but just a different type of stress...busy, life changing stress...
I left my full-time job due to lack of business due to economic factors...
business just wasn't there because the housing market slowed so the contractors and home builders stopped working and people stopped buying houses...
I have also filed for Social Security Disability because I really, really can't work any longer. The fatigue, the pain, the lack of mobility, the memory loss, all were affecting my work so when I could help by taking the layoff, I did.
I really need to get that disability approved since our family might just be one of the many foreclosures if we don't get some income for my portion of the family "bacon".
I am selling pre-made scrapbook albums every now and then and trying to keep my house "in order" but with 3 kids at home, that doesn't happen all that often with my MS complications.

Well, that's it for now!

Spring time

It's supposed to be in like a lion and out like a lamb but I can get used to this...70 degrees, breezy and NICE!!!!

I've been busy in the scrap room too!

Final exams today in two classes, one in the am and another in the pm...Scrapbooking in between! I love days like this. House is clean (basically) and son is doing luandry so I can't right now (boo hoo hoo) :o)

February 1st

Well, I start February 7.2 pounds lighter and feeling VERY good! Taxes are done (and already spent-or at least allocated)

Didn't have to cancel the cruise in June thanks to Uncle Sam's generosity! I am so looking forward to it...Alaska in June...my kind of vacation!

Been very busy scrapbooking lately actually, more like altering anything not sitting style but I am having fun!

Final exams this weekend...need to cram for the computer class but oh well, I just want to pass the class and move on ... Business class is a breeze this semester...80% of the chapters I have knowledge of just by life experience...

Family is well (for now) Sprained ankles (Lloyd) are on the mend, No coughs or colds lingering, no cavaties either!!! BONUS! Now just to get the grades going up instead of done...all four of the kids are struggling with one thing or another and the majority is just an organization issue...doing the work but not turning it in on time because its at home or in the locker or something... Live and Learn!

Hump Day---funny name for Wednesday, ain't it?

Well, Wednesday is here and unlike some people, I worked on Monday (MLK Day) Not alot on my agenda during the day but this afternoon I have too many things going on.

Lloyd (oldest son) is coming home from school and I need to pick him up at the train station plus I have weight watcher tonight at about the same time...typical mom needing to be twice places at once, right???

I want to get some scrapbooking done, need to get with Sami to make a "thanks for teaching me to read" present (she is moving up in reading from remedial to "on target"), laundry and then cleaning for bible study on Thursday night...

Another day, another $1.25 (inflation) :o)

Tuesday, January 15th-well it IS payday

That's a good thing. Finally dragged myself off my sick bed after 2 full days - all day Sunday and all day Monday-Gotta get that flu shot next year. :o)
